Expert referral program

We deeply appreciate referrals from our Expert Network Members, who can connect us with other trusted experts. As a token of our appreciation, we offer a referral reward of $50 (or equivalent in EUR or GBP) when you successfully recommend another naturalist, ecologist and taxonomic expert to work with us, if the following eligibility criteria are met:

• You are contracted to work with us now or in the future (we need this to be able to pay you).
• The referral has noted your name in the ‘How did you hear about Pivotal?’ section of the annotator registration form.
• The referral successfully completes a trial exercise and meets our minimum standards of accuracy and speed in their work.
• The referral is new & has never completed any prior annotation work for Pivotal

Payment of referral reward:

Once the eligibility criteria for your referral have been met, our team will reach out to let you know that you are entitled to a reward payment. We will ask you to include the referral amount in an invoice you send to us. If you’re unsure about any aspect of the referral program, please contact us at annotator-support@pivotal.earth. Please note Pivotal reserves the right to withhold payment of the referral reward if there is any suspected wrongdoing or acting in bad faith.
